Red Letter Days has been doing the Christmas Advent Calendar for a while. The problem was it was not exciting enough. The ecommerce, marketing and social team wanted to work together in one piece. Even social media agency FOUND was involved in it. So, the company wanted something out of the box that brings more engagement to the brand over christmas period.
– Meeting with FOUND agency for ideas and what to achieve – decided to create a interactive page
– Together we came with the ELF to represent our customer service team
– Gathered the requirement on the technical aspects on what is required from the developer
– Time frame : 1 month
– Conducted research on different types of elf, work space conducted 2-3 meetings on approval from the management team
– Since time frame is only one month, had to create all the asset and hand over to developer by 2 weeks
– Developer required time to test at least a week
– Project required more extra work on assets to go on the social pages like facebook and twitter.
– The page was over all a successful project
– The engagement level from various sites from facebook and twitter
– Customer were entering the competition and were eager to share the page equally to their friends and families.
